Apparently I've Reached My Wit's End.

The bus was fun this time. I talked with many interesting people, including Ray, an older guy who cleans houses in Kelowna; Keenan, a cool mountain-man who had recently become a Christian; and Glen, a funny middle-aged single guy returning from a baseball tournament in Revelstoke. Great folks. I also watched 4 movies: Paulie, that one about a talking bird; Cheaper By the Dozen, y'know, Steve Martin etc.; Life or Something Like It, that weird one with Angelina Jolie about some crazy prophet guy; and Fever Pitch, not the Jimmy Fallon one, the original one with Colin Firth about Arsenal instead of the Red Sox, pretty good. They made the trip a quick one. Thank you, Hollywood.

In other news, I decide to replace my sense of humor with the incredible ability to insert awkward silences into conversations whenever I open my mouth. It seems that I have lost my ability to carry on a conversation. Well, not entirely so. But, someone maybe understands me. Do you? I think I do. Sick.

I saw a rather humorous slogan today on a truck. It said:
"We may not be the best, but we're definitely among the top two."
Ok, so it's not that funny, but it inspired a brief chuckle, anyway.

Hey, I was thinking. Why is it that there are pool-boys and yard-guys? Why aren't they both boys or both guys? Is there some sort of job criteria that dictate which gender word it will be? I don't know. Maybe I never will. Maybe it's one of those eternally unanswerable questions that will remain as a kind of paradox for all time, like the troubling ideas of Free Will vs. Predestination, Faith vs. Works, or Girls: Can't Live With 'Em, Can't Obey Genesis 2:24 Without 'Em. I wish I could find someone with the answers. Oh, how I wish.

Alrigh then. Time to go. But first, a little guide from drew.
