Talkin' With the 'Hawk, and the Continuation of My Oprah-Themed Posting.
I'm officially a grandpa. Or maybe a dad. Anyways, what I mean to say is that I have created little blog-children. I recently helped an associate of mine embark on a blogging adventure of his own. Incroyables, non? Oui. It makes my little face beam with pride when I surf on over to his page of delight. I just get this tingly feeling from head to toe, and I think to myself, "Dang, 'Tona, you done a bang-up job with them kiddlies." And it's true. If my little prodigy, Jonny Tomahawk, over there is any indication, I am incredible. But enough of my enormous head.
I am at the U. It is a big day for me. I don't frequent this place near enough. The sights, the sounds, the smells. (Yes, that is a sentence.) But enough of my enormous head.
A few days ago I had a good little chuckle in my English class. We had begun to talk about some of the teachings of Jesus, while interpreting some piece of literature, and my buddy Josh said something that really got me going. I think he phrased it, ever the public speaker, like this, "Hey, so, like, going back to that stuff about Jesus, I think Oprah said something like, 'Real integrity is doing stuff and not telling anybody' and I just thought that was great." It goes without saying that I busted all of my guts laughing. Tee hee.
But why stop there?
'Cause I'm tired.
Toodles.
Daytona Splendor.
